Project Description
I. General Introduction
DTSY1598 DLMS Three Phase Smart Prepaid Meter takes digital medium as information exchange media. Then, it is an active energy meter users load in purchased electricity amount, and it adopts electricity amount to bill. However, MCU and UIU communicate via PLC to realize the functions of active energy measuring and prepayment control. Additionally, MCU includes measurement unit, real-time clock unit, load switch and other auxiliary equipments, while UIU is with numeric keypad interface and display.
II. Technical Features
i. When energy balance is 0, the meter can send out power off signal to control load for auto switching off, and it shall auto restore the power supply after the new purchased power amount is loaded.
ii. Record terminal cover open event, face cover open event, meter box cover open event, overload event, power off event, phase off event, reverse event, magnetic field detection event, meter temperature abnormal event, over voltage event, under voltage event, over current event and power purchase event, etc.
iii. Auto detection.
iv. Reverse consumption measured as forward.
v. Demand calculating.
vi. Realize users’ load detecting and controlling.
vii. Detect grid parameters including real-time power, voltage, current and power factor.
viii. Keep displaying after power outage.

Programmable low credit alert & have an alarm based on a minimum credit threshold. The meter can be programmed to set user credit alert threshold. |
When the remaining credit in the meter is exhausted, the relay built into the meter will automatically cut off the power to the load. Customer’s power will be restored after recharging. |
The 8-digit LCD screen displays the acceptance or rejection of a 20-digit token. |
