I. General Introduction of SMC Meter Box
First of all, DTSY1598 SMC meter box adopts fiber glass reinforced polyester material. Firstly, the box can meet anti-tamper and IP54 protection. Secondly, it will accommodate 1pc 4P circuit breaker, 1pc neutral strip and 3pcs AD type fuse cartridges.
II.Technical Features&Characteristics of SMC Meter Box
i. At first, adopt hot compression molded mode.
ii. At the same time, pass self-extinguishing at 960℃ and resistant to heat above 125℃ and ultra-violet rays.
iii. Equip with a transparent window for visual meter-reading too.
iv. In a way, select incorrodable tin-plated brass, the screws in tin-plated steel or stainless steel.
v. Provide circuit breaker reset access hatch.
vi. Additionally, comply with EDF HN 60 E-01, 02 and 03, EDF HN 62 S-15 and EDF HN 60 E-80.
vii. Support wall or pole mounting by strap.
viii. Further more, tighten by triangle locking and sealing screw.
ix. Then, meet high impact resistance (IK10), high degree of protection IP54.
x. Lastly, can install various models of single phase or three phase postpaid meter.
Function&Feature

| It is equipped with a fixed window to check the energy meter’s status. The window part is made of transparent polycarbonate, non-corrosive and indémontable from the outside. The mechanical protection index to be combined with this is IK10. |
| The equipment fixing inserts are made of incorrodable tin-plated brass, the screws in tin-plated steel or stainless steel. |
| The circuit breaker reset access hatch is made by injection without any metal parts. It is articulated in its upper part and guarantees the tightness of the whole thanks to its shape. |
| For protection against solid bodies and liquids, the degree of protection to be associated with these boxes is IP54. |
| These enclosures comply with EDF HN60 E-01, 02 and 03, EDF HN62 S–15 and EDF HN60 E-80 specifications. |
| Installation mode of the enclosures includes fixing on wall or pole by strap. |
| With accessories&rack to fix various models of three phase postpaid energy meter and circuit breaker(3 points for fixing energy meter; 2 points for fixing circuit-breaker). |
