I. Introduction

Firstly, Prepaid Water Meter Charged by Smart RFID or IC Card complies with national standards GB/T778-2007 “Measurement of water flow in fully charged closed conduits-Meters for cold potable water and hot water”, ISO4064:2014, the industry standard CJ/T 133-20 12 “Integrated circuit water meter “, and all the technical requirements of Q/0900TQB001-2011″IC card water meter”.

Secondly, factory inspection procedures strictly implement standard JJG162-2009″Verification Regulation of Cold Water Meter” and JJG686-2006 “Verification Regulation of Hot Water Meter”.

Thirdly, measurement equipment approval certificate number: 2011F1819-37, 2011F1821-37, 2011F1822-37 and 2011F1823-37.

1.Principle and composition

ISM1598 Prepaid Water Meter Charged by Smart RFID or IC Card is newly development of high-tech electronic smart prepaid water meter with advanced microcomputer control technology as the core, IC card technology as the information transmission medium consisting of high intelligence instruments. What’s more,  it combines pre-paid, automatic measurement, alarm, preventing improper use and other functions in a whole; with accurate measurement and reliable performance, compact structure and so on.

With rotating vane type water meter as basic meter, the smart prepaid water meter is installed a new low-power and large output torque of motor control valve without pressure loss, and micro-controller. However, it also adopt advanced logic encryption technology and implement one-meter-one-card, to ensure the user data is safe and reliable. Application of this product completely changed the traditional mode of water meter, from “first water, after payment” to “first payment, after water”, greatly facilitate the work of the residential property management sector and water resource management department.

2. Features

• Prepaid: User prepaid to buy water and charge on prepaid water meter via RFID IC card, arrears off valve without water.
• Multi-meter via one card: a card can be controlled and used in electricity, gas and other smart meter.
• Display Synchronization: Liquid crystal display synchronizes with machinery display part, even if the circuit is faulty causing the liquid crystal does not show, can also refer to the machinery display part.
• Alarm: Battery under voltage, usable water shortage, strong magnetic interference and other fault information, prompt alarm on the LCD.
• Data return: Each time user prepaid and swipe user card, will bring related information back to the management system for the management to understand the user’s water use.
• Valve self-maintenance: Rotate the valve regularly can clear up the valve in time, to ensure the flexibility of the valve.
• Anti-water storage(purchase limit): Through software can be flexibly set to prepaid limit, to prevent users from over storage.
• Anti-drip: With anti-drip basal meter to realize the anti-drip function.
• Water audit: Inquire the users who did not prepaid or be on low water consumption for a long time, and screen them out.
• Replace battery easily: Specially designed replacement battery covers at the bottom side of the meter, is convenient to replace battery, and making replacement of battery no longer a difficulty to the water utility.
