ISW1598 Multi-jet Smart STS Prepaid LoRaWAN Water Meter
I. Compliant to STS protocol
Smart STS prepaid LoRaWAN water meter pefectly combines conventional prepaid water meter and STS encryption mechanism. With the convenient and secure STS hardware&software encryption, STS prepaid water meter accepts 20 digits charging TOKEN. What’s more, as per water utility’s demand, iSmart Meters can provide API protocol to the 3rd party for customizing web payment or mobile USSD.
II. Upgradable to AMR/AMI via LoRaWAN
Except above STS vending feature, additionally it also can be integrated into automatic reading system(AMR or AMI) by LoRaWAN module. In order to realize the data reading function, utility needs to purchase data concentrator unit(DCU). Because DCU will read and store data from water meter, and then transmit data to server in water utility. Meanwhile, in case of successfully reading and storing the data, AMR/AMI system can analyse consumption and tampering for rating customer’s credit. In this way, water utility can effectively adopt respective measures to limit or cut off water supply.
III. Linkable to Customer Unit(CIU)
In addition, STS smart prepaid water meter can communicate with an extra customer Interface Unit(CIU). Generally, CIU should be installed at customer’s house. Through inputting 2 or 3 digits of short code on keypad, user can query the data from water meter easily.
