DDSY1598 Smart DLMS Single Phase STS Prepayment Energy Meter
I. General Introduction
Single Phase STS Prepayment Energy Meter adopts the latest addition STS prepayment technology, which is robust, reliable, modern and equipped with innovative features.
At first, the respective data is transmitted from the Point of Sale generating a 20-digit numeric code. Secondly, it can automatically shut off the customer’s power supply in the event of fraudulent manipulation or exceeding of power. Thirdly, it can comply with the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) as well as Currency Transfer Specification (CTS) .
What’s more, when the available credit is exhausted, the customer’s power supply can be immediately disconnected. It is flexible to switch between post payment mode and prepayment mode. Finally, with plug-in&play-out communication module such as PLC, Lora RF, GPRS or 3G, enlarge the scalability to be compatible to AMI features.

(9) Bypass current: If a bypass current is detected, the meter LCD display will emit a continuously flashing “EARTH” symbol, and the meter will record the bypass event log; the “EARTH” symbol will become a steady display until the bypass current disappears. “EARTH” can only be erased by EDM’s tamper clearing TOKEN code.
